We all love our hoverboards, but scratches are one way they can look old real fast. There is however hope for your scooter to maintain its new look with this easy to do a procedure that costs you almost nothing. Here is how you can scratchproof your hoverboard.
What You Need: Your Hoverboard + Rubber/Foam Tape + Scissors
Procedure: The first thing you need to do is cut up the foam tape into some measured length. Have 2.12-inch-long rectangular strips. 4.5-inch long rectangular strips and another 4.3-inch long strip of the foam tape.
The second step is to apply the rubber tape strips to the scooter. Here, the two 12 inch tapes cover the wheels. The 4.3-inch tapes cover the front and back sides of the scooter that have the power button and lights. The remaining stripes cover the lower parts of the scooter closest to where the wheels join the balancing board.
Precision is key here as the aim is to ensure that your board is properly covered with as much accuracy as possible to ensure the highest protection. It is also good to ensure that you do not cover up your lights, power button or charging port to avoid any inconvenience. The foam tape comes with the advantage that you can remove it if by any chance it was poorly placed and redo the process. So stop by your nearest Home Depot today and give yourself the freedom to ride your Hoverboard with ease.
